Easiest way to start making money online is through AdSense, not because it is easy to sign up with or because their pay per click is high but because with AdSense you publish ads relative to the content you write about and this increases the interest of the readers to learn more about that topic you have wrote.

Personally I like AdSense for one reason, it is much easier to convert a click into money and it does not require that the person who clicked the ad to purchase something on the site that lands at. That same click already brings me money, unlike affiliate links which require that the visitor makes a purchase or subscription in order to earn money online. Even tho the earnings a pretty higher but it is more hard to convert those visitors into money (especially if the companies landing page is not well organized and optimized to incentive sales).

The process of making money with AdSense is not as simple as it might seem tho, it requires some techniques to be implemented in order to perform a better click through rate such as the position of the ad in your site, the colors of the ad and how well you have blended the ads and the number of ad blocks that need to be used.

Why the position of the ad is important

To receive more clicks on your AdSense block you need to strategically place those ads to appeal to your readers and to be visible. If the ad is placed at the bottom of the page it is more likely that you are going to receive less clicks than placing the ad block at the top of the page or within the content and hence making less money.

What colors of Ads have to do with click through rate

Thereis a debate to many AdSense publishers, most claim that blending your ads and adjusting the colors so that your ad blocks looks identical to your content (blended with your content) will perform much better in clicks since that appeals as normal hyperlink within the content to your visitors. Others claim that making the ad block outstand from the rest of the layout design and content performs better for them. One thing is sure, you have to experiment your ad placement and colors to know which one would work better for you.
