The question raises spontaneously when it is about blogging since there are different purposes why a person starts a blog. Is it just rambling about your self and your passion, is it about pre-selling products of your company, is it about sharing your experience during the trips you make or simply making money (and this latest reason is kinda the most used lately in the blogsphere). In either case, being unique as we are in our way in our daily life people tend to be unique also in the virtual life as well.

Having a unique blog design can tell lots about yourself and about how serious you are with your blog. But sometimes prices touch the sky when it regards about web design (is it a static website design, a blog design, a CMS design or even a forum skin design). Just as every art, also the art of designing a graphical layout costs money since the author has implemented his imagination, time and efforts to build something beautiful and pleasant for your and your visitors eyes.

The crew at xhtml coding has made it possible so you can have your own blog design and to be sure that not the whole blogsphere is going to have the same identical layout as yours. To accommodate the prices for everyones needs the newest Blue Glory layout is being sold on two type of licenses, as leased license with which you can purchase the theme for $65 USD only and be sure that only you and other 10 folks will own the same layout in the whole blogsphere, or you can purchase the layout under owned license and have it as unique with full rights for only $550 USD.

The theme is darkish, but beautiful and elegant theme and in the same time it is pleasant for eyes and relaxing for your readers while reading your posts. It also has a customized homepage coding to highlight your most important categories and the latest post of the categories. The great elegant design makes so that the theme is eye catching and it is also designed to highlight other aspects of your blog such as all the latest posts, the rss feed subscription which has a centralized position to have the first impact on visitors eyes and the tag cloud in case visitors would like to surf through your blogs tags to gain more specific informations (depending on how you have tagged them). Here is a preview of the header of the blog

This is a great opportunity to grab a great looking wordpress theme for such a low price, but if you can afford the full price $550 the theme could remain yours only and your blog will have a completely unique design. With the owned license you also have the rights to do whatever you want with the theme but not to list it in your design portfolio (if have one) or claim it as your design, but what you can do is sell it, use it on as many blogs as you want or whatever you really like. If you were looking for a beautiful blog design then rush over at xhtml coding and buy this theme.

You have most likely ended up landing in a website that has only one page, that is one mile long, it has lots of text and 60% of the text is from testimonials, and at the bottom of that page you finally see the BUY NOW button. But to reach that button you have scroll your browser for a mile. Huh very scary isn’t it?

Usually when I see such websites I close them as they load, waiting for it to load in most cases is a waste of time and filled with bunch of content (if we really want to call it that way their most likely faked testimonials or maybe not) and if I even get interested to buy that i have to scroll a mile to reach the buy button. Well let me put it clear, you are forcing me to read the testimonials, you are preselling your product based on what testimonials say, which doesn’t tell me much about your product but that you have no clue how you can define your product and how you can pre sell it to me, if I wanted to read what testimonials say I would rather click on a page called testimonials and not have it slapped in my face as the page loads.

I have a theory that If they designed their pages in a smarter way and with marketing in mind, they would build more credibility with their “sales page” visitors and most likely will increase sales as well. Since I am not into that business scheme, and I do not actually sell ebooks I don’t have such a page, but would love to run an experiment on such a page.

And to run my experiment I want to get my hands on a website that is already using a sales letter page for awhile now, that is actually selling a copy or two a day of his product (don’t care if its ebook or whatever) or that at least has a decent traffic stream over at his website (via targeted PPC ads or organic traffic like 500+ uniques a day) but it is not managing to sell enough copies of his/her product. Than to redesign the site (for FREE) the way I think it will best perform and to see the results of the sales after a month, with the same traffic amount (PPC targeted or Organic targeted if we want to see really the results). Why I am asking for PPC or organic targeted traffic is simply, because the traffic IS targeted and it is not JUST traffic.

If you have such site and you are willing to get your site a design liftup for free and agree to get my hands and run this experiment on your site, please comment on this post and I will contact you (no need to mention your site, we can discuss that later on via email).
